Adventurous Activities
Tread new ground
Offering students a window to a new landscape can broaden their perspective and give them a taster of what the world has to offer outside of their normal experience.
Swiss Normandy, the unofficial Adventure Capital of northern France is just 40km inland from the sandy beaches of Normandy, where the River Orne flows through an area of granite rock. As it winds its way through the unspoilt countryside, the river creates deep gorges and immense cliffs and some beautiful and varied scenery. This rugged landscape offers an area ripe for exploring by bike, canoe, velorail and trying out many other adventurous activities.
In the Pyrenees, Val d’Azun is situated at the foot of the col du Soulor, found in one of the wildest and most natural valleys in the Hautes-Pyrenees. This area has an abundance of wild rivers, crags, caves and canyons within the surroundings of the stunning snow caped mountain peaks.
